It took far too long to get this first AfterEffects composition done. I believe I rendered it at least 3 or 4 times. First the footage was too choppy, then I discovered my settings were wrong. I fixed the settings and tired a different clip. While I ended up discarding that one too (once again, the footage jerked too much--it probably wouldn't have been very noticeable except for the words moving over the top of it), I learned how to flip the footage, so it wasn't wasted time. Anyway, I finally finished it, rendered it and put it into the timeline. The next piece--the title. Until next time,

Yesterday, I finally got around to re-doing my read through. I honestly think my first attempt that ended in static probably sounded better, but since this is just a stand-in I think what I got will be fine. I spent a good while this afternoon cutting the audio into more workable clips, cutting it before the places an interview clip will be. I also seperated some of the voice overs out too because they will go with AfterEffect compositions. The whole of the narration at this point reaches about 30 minutes. How long it will be with the interviews, I do not know yet, but 45 minutes to an hour was my target length. I think I may make it. :) Racheal |
