Meet the Producer:
Yours truly is slated to be the assistant producer, director, camera operator, sound person, and editor. Not to mention whatever else I need to pitch in to do.
A collaboration with KT Productions! Francis Justice, P.I.:The Case of the Blackguard goes into production sometime in the (near) future (hopefully). The Producer and I need to sit down and hash that out. As I was just offically welcomed on board the production this afternoon, I can say, from the Directors' standpoint that their is still a fair bit of pre-production to tackle. Meet the Producer: At the age of 18 (going on 19), Katherine (the "KT" of KT Productions) has been telling stories along with her sisters (of whom I am one ;]) since she was a little girl. She told me about her story months ago (she is also the screenwriter for The Case of the Blackguard) and I forgot about it. When she brought it up again, I enthusiastically re-itterated my offer to direct. The end result is that Sparks of Reformation Productions is going to collaborate with KT Productions. Katherine is the producer, as well as being slated as the actress (you'll have to wait to find out more about that), the composer of the theme song (and the performer of said song), the costumer, as well as the make-up and hair artist. Yours truly is slated to be the assistant producer, director, camera operator, sound person, and editor. Not to mention whatever else I need to pitch in to do. I got started with my pre-production work today by typing up her "script". I'm sure it isn't completely in proper script form, but it's a start for a shooting script. We need to go through together and edit it. There are a few rough dialogue spots that need tweaking. I definitely have some work to do...but I look forward to it! I hope to bring you an update soon! RachealP.S. As for the Cow Cavalry...as soon as reenacting season is over, I'm going to really start bugging my narrator for the narration. I know he's busy with teaching school, reenacting, playing in the band 7lb.s of Bacon, and whatever else needs doing...
