Hello! I am Savannah, the resident DP at Sparks of Reformation Productions. Despite that, this new blog is to document my progress in scriptwriting... (Just in case anyone happens to be interested, you can see examples of my still photography over at Sunsets and Grey Moss--and of my writing style over on my personal blog, Sparks of Reformation.)
With that said, I am working on my first script ever--and, of course, being me, I chose a challenging project for my first time! I have a lot of historical research yet to do--but I love history, so that is not a problem for me....
Anyways, the story (working title is His Wife) is set during the Revolutionary War. The ardent Patriot with whom the story is concerned bears the brilliantly original name of John--though it suits him very well. John is a soldier in the 2nd North Carolina Continental Line Regiment--but his dedicated wife, Mary, has her reservations about both his patriotism and his soldiering....
I don't want to give the whole story away at this point, but I am sure more will slip out later as I let you all know how my research is coming along!
Thanks for joining us here! Please contact us if you have any questions or comments!
